Designed for Adults

Our Steps programme

The Steps Programme is a supportive 13-week course for adults with ADHD who want to better understand themselves and build strategies that make everyday life easier. Through small group sessions led by trained facilitators, participants explore focus, organisation, emotional regulation, motivation and personal growth in a calm, judgment-free environment.

How does it work?

Steps takes place over 13 weekly sessions, giving participants enough time to learn at a steady, manageable pace. The groups are kept deliberately small so everyone has space to speak, share experiences and feel genuinely supported. It’s a setting where people don’t have to mask, explain themselves or pretend to “have it together”  everyone is welcomed exactly as they are.

Each session is led by trained facilitators who blend professional knowledge with real lived experience of ADHD. This mix creates an environment where the guidance feels relatable, practical and rooted in everyday reality rather than theory alone.

The facilitators introduce new skills gently, showing how to adapt them for different personalities, lifestyles and challenges. The sessions combine open discussion, coaching-style activities, reflective tasks and shared learning. Participants explore how their brain works, what gets in their way, and how to build systems that genuinely fit them. Strategies are introduced step by step not all at once so people have time to absorb, practise and tweak things between sessions.

There’s plenty of room to ask questions, reflect on what’s improving, and get support when something isn’t quite clicking yet. The group becomes a source of encouragement and connection, with many people finding comfort in realising they’re not alone in their struggles.

How does it help?

The Steps Programme helps adults with ADHD develop structure in their lives, strengthen their confidence and gain a clearer understanding of how their mind works. Many people join feeling overwhelmed or unsure why certain patterns keep repeating, and the programme gently unpacks those experiences in a supportive, practical way.

Each session introduces straightforward tools that can be used immediately to make daily life feel easier. Participants learn strategies for managing focus and distractions, organising tasks in ways that reduce stress, and understanding their emotional responses so they can navigate challenging moments with more ease.

There’s also a strong emphasis on building self-belief, helping people replace years of frustration or self-blame with a more compassionate and realistic sense of their own strengths.

As the weeks progress, participants begin to feel more capable, more understood and more able to shape their lives with confidence.

By understanding how their brain works and learning tools that genuinely support them, they leave with a clearer path forward and a renewed sense of control
