Our PX2 Programme due 2026
The PX2 Programme is ADHD Jersey’s youth empowerment course designed for teenagers and young adults. It helps young people understand how their mind works, build confidence and develop positive habits that lead to real progress in life. Through engaging sessions, PX2 teaches practical tools for motivation, goal setting, decision-making and emotional control. Whether someone is struggling with focus, low self-belief or direction, PX2 gives them the mindset and skills to move forward with purpose.
How does it work?
PX2 is delivered in small, welcoming group sessions led by trained facilitators who understand the unique pressures young people face. The atmosphere is relaxed and supportive, giving participants the space to speak openly, reflect, and feel genuinely heard.
Each session introduces a new mindset skill things like understanding how the brain processes information, recognising unhelpful thought patterns, building motivation, or practising decision-making. These ideas aren’t taught through lectures; they come alive through guided discussions, short videos, interactive tasks and real-life scenarios that make the learning practical, engaging and relevant.
As the programme progresses, young people start to see how their thoughts influence their behaviour, how shifting perspective can change an outcome, and how small, consistent actions can move them toward goals that matter to them.
They learn strategies to handle stress, setbacks and uncertainty with more confidence, and they begin to build a stronger sense of identity and self-belief. PX2 isn’t just a set of lessons, it’s a personal development journey.

How does it help?
PX2 gives young people a powerful set of tools to understand themselves more clearly and take genuine control of their future.
The programme goes beyond simple motivation it helps participants recognise how their mind works, why certain patterns keep repeating, and how they can shift those patterns to create better outcomes in school, work and everyday life.
Through guided activities, real conversation and practical exercises, young people learn how to build motivation from the inside rather than relying on pressure or fear of failure. They begin to see what they’re capable of, which strengthens self-belief and emotional resilience. The programme also teaches practical strategies for handling frustration, managing negative thinking and staying steady during stressful moments.
A major part of PX2 is learning how to set goals that actually mean something. Participants explore what they want for themselves, break big ideas into achievable steps and practise the habits that make progress possible. Over time, they gain a clearer sense of who they are and where they want to go, along with the confidence to make decisions that align with their values.
By the end of PX2, young people leave with a stronger sense of direction, a toolkit for dealing with life’s challenges and a belief that they can shape their own path with purpose and stability. It’s not just personal development it’s a foundation for long-term growth, both emotionally and practically.
